Hey all! I'm putting it to a vote -- what shall be the theme of the next batch of fic/art links?

Your choices:

1. Sex Pollen, Pon Farr, and other Fuck-Or-Die Tropes
2. Phone Sex, or Talk Dirty to Me
3. Domestic!fic (includes a lot of WAFF, kid!fic, and kitchen porn)
4. Xeno! that doesn't fall under tentacles (dunno how much of this I have though)
5. Really epic-length fic. Like, 100k+ words. (As much as I love epic_recs, I don't agree with their word count boundaries, lol. It's like when fashion articles talk about long hair, and I get excited, and then realize they mean shoulder-length hair, which does not apply to my meter-length locks. oh god babble sorry.)
6. Other - suggestions welcome!

lol! So far two votes for #1, though one of them may have switched to door #6 - "characters as animals, plants, or inanimate objects" XP (so far for that we have chocobos, rainbows, and girl scout cookies, off the top of my head)

I was about to make a rough list of fandom's with xeno fic, and I ran into a problem -- I'm not quite sure how to define/categorize it! Especially when there are entire fandoms that are focused on one aspect or another (Transformers is all robot!fic, and then you have cat/anthro for a bunch of anime series...).

So, if I eventually get around to this, I think I'm going to pick a specific category, like wing!fic or something. Is there anything in particular you'd like to see?

Hmmm... Defining xeno is tricky, as it refers more to what something is not - human, that is. Aliens and dragons and tentacle-monsters, oh my! I admit, I don't get robot!fic at all. I read the occasional genfic from TF fandom, but robot!pr0n just makes me shake my head and go, Huh? I do like wing!fic, though, and yeah, anthro's also fun.

Lawl. I enjoy the robot!porn, but I admit, it did take many headtilts before I got accustomed to the idea. (And I usually read robot/human pairings, though I don't know if that makes it better or worse, lol...)
