it's been quite some time, hasn't it...

I've gotten a bit frustrated with formatting posts over on Tumblr, and the cloistered nature of Discord, so I'm thinking about picking up longform blogging over here again. (and then have permanent links I can attach to photosets instead)

Anyway, knitting! that's a thing i've been doing a lot of instead of sewing, and me being me, it has involved a lot of pattern development and adjustment i'm interested in documenting, so.

weighing the pros and cons of making a new blog for that, but historically i have never been able to manage upkeep over various platforms, so nah. slap it all here with my decades (two decades T_T) old posts, whatever.

gotta clean up the old posts here tho orz. archiving the old shopping service posts (rip, cannot drag myself to the post office for the past few years like I used to) and also maybe locking some more of the personal things? idk

just noting my last public post was uh.... extremely negative. i'm still a hot mess but trying to be more uhhhh self-aware about when it's likely poor brain chemistry rather than poor life choices getting me down.

anyway, user icons! i need new ones!
